Hi Joshua, thanks for stopping by. Agree, Jason is only Jason with his English accent. Hummingbird is a great film and I really want to see him in roles like that but I suppose he is a victim of a genre and most people want to see him walking around with serious face and kicking hell out of bad guys.

Because he can’t, if you have seen The One, you would remember what a truly horrible American accent he did seriously its one for the books on how not to do accents.
Also you might want to watch Hummingbird if you haven’t, because if you had you would see that it wasn’t action packed, it was a serious film about an army vet, who suffered with a lot of traumatic experiences. It might be one of his best roles if you ask me.

In everything else he uses a kind of watered-down, dramatic hoarse type accent in the same way Neeson does. In fact, other than from the comments of Americans who watch his movies, I’d never have known that he was supposed to be doing a British accent at all.
