Watch the second trailer to Enemies Closer

Jean-Claude Van Damme is re-teaming with his former Time Cop and Sudden Death director Peter Hyams for a new project Enemies Closer. The movie is described as more of an action-thriller than a martial arts flick. Tom Everett Scott and Orlando Jones co-star alongside Van Damme.

John Hyams handling the editing, both father and son know what it takes to put quality action together… with Van Damme on board.

The film is written by Eric Bromberg and James Bromberg, with fight choreography by Borislav Iliev, who worked on many movies with Scott Adkins such as Undisputed III: Redemption, Ninja, The Tournament, El Gringo and upcoming Hercules 3D.

Borislav worked with different action stars such as Van Damme in Until Death and In Hell, Steven Seagal in Out for a Kill and Submerged, Wesley Snipes in The Contractor, Dolph Lundgren in Direct Contact and Universal Soldier: Regeneration.

Plot: Deep within a forest on the US-Canadian border, two sworn enemies must work together to escape a ruthless drug cartel hell-bent on retrieving a drug shipment which went missing there.

Film is scheduled for release in October 2013.
