Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning is set to release on November 30, 2012. Director John Hyams united a good pack of martial artists together and put them into a new showdown of famous franchise. Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Roy Jones Jr., Andrei Arlovski and Scott Adkins with support of Larnell Stovall and Michael Jai White will play bloody action scenes on our screens in November and all this has been done with a budget of $11,500,000, what is much smaller than the first movie, which cost $23,000,000 in 1992 and grossed $101,200,000 Worldwide. The second part collected only $19,912,120 with a budget of $24,000,000 in 1999.
10 years later John Hyams released Universal Soldier: Regeneration, but it grossed only $845,197 with a budget of $14,000,000… Budget is smaller, but will the 4th part gross enough or it is not so necessary because it is just a tribute to a good action of old times and everybody just enjoy working on the sets together? What do you think?
