Action star, director and producer Alexander Nevsky returns with a new political thriller named Red Prophecies about an American journalist who finds himself embroiled in dangerous political games.

The principal photography took place in Moscow prior to the pandemic, and in Los Angeles past summer under COVID-safe regulations.

Alexander shared some details about this movie:

“I always play good guys in action movies, but it’s a little bit different in Red Prophecies this time. My character Peter Morgan is a mysterious secret agent, and you can’t understand right away if he’s good or bad. But on the other hand – my friend Casper Van Dien plays a heroic Russian FSB officer. It was great to work with him again because we had a lot of fun on Showdown in Manila!

I produced Red Prophecies through my LA production company Hollywood Storm and with a help of my friend Alexander Izotov (Czar Pictures). We hired a wonderful team of actors such as Michael Madsen (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Stephen Baldwin (Usual Suspects), Oded Fehr (Resident Evil) and Oscar nominee Eric Roberts, who did a very nice job on my previous film Maximum Impact.

Red Prophecies will be presented to international buyers at the American Film Market in November. I’m planning the US release early next year. It will be limited theatrical, VOD, BluRay and all the Digital platforms, and a little later – Amazon Prime Video premiere. By the way, you can watch three of my film on Prime Video now (free with subscription): Treasure Raiders, Showdown in Manila and Maximum Impact.”
